When You Need Help,
Make Sure Help Can Hear You.

The Equipment You Hope You Never Need. The Equipment You Can't Afford to Get Wrong.

An elevator’s emergency communication system may remain unused for 99% of its life. But in 1% of situations when a passenger is trapped, it must work—immediately and reliably, 100% of the time.

Elecom is Elevatech’s range of elevator emergency communication systems, designed to provide a dependable communication link when passengers or maintenance personnel need to reach help from inside or around the elevator.

Rarely used. Critically important. Designed to work when it matters most.

POWER FAILURE? COMMUNICATION MUST CONTINUE.

Emergency Doesn't Always Come Alone.

A passenger may become trapped because of a power failure, making independent backup power a critical part of an emergency communication system.

Elecom systems can be configured with battery backup of up to 30 minutes, helping maintain communication even when the main power supply is unavailable.

Because a power failure should never become a communication failure.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMMUNICATION PATH

Not every elevator installation has the same requirements.

Elecom is available in different communication configurations to suit the building, elevator arrangement and emergency-response process.

2-WAY

Car ↔ Lobby

The essential communication link between the passenger inside the elevator and the lobby.

Suitable when:
The lobby is continuously attended or serves as the designated emergency response point.

3-WAY

Car ↔ Lobby ↔ Machine Room

The essential communication link between the passenger inside the elevator and the lobby.

Suitable when:
The elevator maintenance/service team needs to be part of the emergency communication chain.

5-WAY

Car ↔ Car Top ↔ Pit ↔ Lobby ↔ Machine Room

Provides broader communication coverage across key elevator locations.

Suitable when:
Communication is required not only for trapped passengers but also for technicians working on or around the elevator.

WHAT IF THERE IS NO ONE IN THE LOBBY?

The Lobby Isn't Always Staffed.

In many residential and commercial buildings, there may not be a person continuously stationed at the elevator lobby.

That’s why the communication system may need to connect beyond the lobby—to a building management or designated response room, and potentially support multiple elevator extensions.

The right configuration ensures that an emergency call reaches someone who can actually respond.

SELECT FOR THE SITUATION, NOT JUST THE PRODUCT
